On of the reasons that we chose to move to the area we currently live in is, aside from being within the catchment area for our chosen school for Sausage, it’s just around the corner from where Husband grew up, which means that his family are very close by – about 20 doors up the road, in fact!
Having family so close by is great as it means that we don’t have to go far to spend time with them – Saturday evening is often spent at Husband’s Aunt’s house, where we all have fish and chips and a good old natter. Sausage loves spending time with her cousins and when it comes to Christmas, no one has too far to go to gather, in the Festive spirit.
Swinton has recently done a survey of neighbourly relationships around the UK and it looks like the folk up North enjoy the best relationships with their neighbours, although according to the infographic below, 100% of people in Aberystwyth know their neighbours names, which is quite impressive!
